Why Am I Here?

On Christmas Day, my precious niece asked me, "Why are you here?" After a tedious conversation regarding our new home, family get togethers over the holidays, and the explaination of why grownups don't own a home and rent an apartment at the same time, she looked at me with those HUGE blue eyes and said, "OH! But why are you here?"

So, why am I here? Why am I writing? And most importantly, why do you care what I have to say?

I have NO IDEA! :)

I created this blog 3 years ago to communicate wedding plans with my bridesmaids were were spread out over the country. Then it morphed into a site to catalog my amazing crafting talents...(look at the pages, they are all blank, so you can see how well that turned out!) Now, it just sits here mocking me.

So, this blog is going to become my outlet to vent frustrations, share my "enlightened" thoughts on life, and occasionally brag on myself a little as I embark on this new year. I'm quitting smoking, so you will probably see LOTS about that! I'm a wife, an engineer, a grad student, a blossoming cook, and avid reader, mother to 2 adorable kitties, and a woman with a quirky sense of humor who enjoys listening to herself WAY too much:) I rarely take myself seriously, and I never expect anyone else to! Enjoy.
